Our story
Hi, I’m Sarah Harms—a Nashville native, private chef, and passionate homegrown foodie. What started as a love for cooking grew into a career after I earned my degree in Culinary Arts from Auguste Escoffier. Today, I get to do what I love most: create seasonal, thoughtful meals that brings people together around the table. Whether I’m prepping a weeknight dinner or catering a special gathering, my goal is always the same—great food, shared with Great company…
Cooking has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. you can almost always find me experimenting and trying to create something new. When I was a kid my dad would travel for work and sometimes bring the whole family which allowed me to travel to incredible places across the country and the world. My dad instilled a love for seeing the world in me from a young age. Each trip introduced me to new flavors, unique ingredients, and the beautiful artistry of how different cultures approach food. I was fascinated by the idea that the same ingredient could be transformed into something entirely new depending on who was cooking it.
During culinary school, that curiosity became a true passion. I fell in love with the techniques, traditions, and creativity that cooking allows. To me, the kitchen is a playground—a place to explore, experiment, and create dishes that bring people joy. Cooking is both an art and an adventure, and I feel so fortunate that it’s also my career.
Table & Thyme is the heart of that passion. My vision is to bring the same excitement and wonder I’ve experienced through food to your table. Every menu I create is designed with care, inspired by seasonal ingredients, and infused with the joy I feel when cooking. Whether it’s a cozy meal for your family, a small gathering with friends, or an elegant event, I want every bite to feel personal, memorable, and full of love.
For me, cooking isn’t just about making a meal—it’s about creating an experience that lingers long after the last bite.
